Jiu-Jitsu is widely considered the most effective form of self-defense in the world and has become hugely popular especially with the explosion of UFC. The primary goal of Jiu-Jitsu is to control a resisting opponent in ways that force him into submission by grappling.

Much of the technique of BJJ is centered around taking down an opponent on the ground and wrestling to control and render him harmless.

With proper technique, a BJJ practitioner can overcome opponents of a much bigger size. No kicks, no punches … let’s roll!

Our Submission Grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program

Our Jiu-Jitsu program is broken into different levels of training: Fundamentals, Intermediate, Competition, and Drill Cycles. The Intermediate class builds on what is learned in Fundamentals and develop more technical skills. There is also more "live" training as well as defensive and offensive training.  

Our competition classes are fast-paced and are made up of high-intensity drilling, lots of positional sparring, and live rolling and is invite only. The class focuses less on teaching new techniques and more on sharpening the skills that you already possess along with building that mental preparation needed for competition. 

Drill Cycles help you commit BJJ movements and techniques to muscle memory. While there is no rolling in this class, there is more attention to smaller details of each technique and a special focus on BJJ body movements. Drilling can offer students an opportunity to improve their technical skill, conditioning, and timing.

Self-Defense for the Real World

Jiu-Jitsu is a unique program that truly teaches self-defense for the real world. Based on simple principles and instinctive movements, this reality-based system is designed to teach real self-defense in the shortest possible time.

These are many of the same strategies that police officers use when in a threatening situation.
